Blood Covenant

Blood Covenant is a bullethell game that digs into human freedom and demonic possession. 

Our main character is possessed by an ancient demon, Hæla, whose will is to wipe mankind and rebel against God. She uses you as a vessel, depriving you of any freedom. By losing control, you become a killer machine who can only obey. 

The game consists of different scenes, switching from text events where we will learn about this ancient demon’s desires, to raids full of enemies and a final boss, an angelic eye guarding the gates of heaven. 

Blood Covenant explores the concept of being “out of control” not only by this demonic possession, but also through game mechanics. We introduced a berserk mode which alters the game controls and introduces punishments to evoke this feeling of lack of control.
